Significant rainfall yesterday at West Henrico Co. - Glen Allen area was 1.15 inches

with lighter amounts to the east with 0.68 inches of precipitation at the Richmond International Airport. 


February 13   at 1000 Hrs.
The snow started yesterday at   1627 and by midnight the total was 4.6 inches.

The liquid precipitation yesterday to midnight was 0.50 inches

After midnight 0.6 inches of sleet and snow for a storm total of 5.2 inches so far.

Total precipitation today so far is 0.84 inches and for the storm 1.34 inches.

Maximum one hour snow fall intensity was 1.0 inch    between  2145 - 2245 

First graupel around 2320 that transitioned to sleet around 0020.

At 0140 a little freezing rain mixed with sleet that became all freezing rain between 0220 and 0225.

At 0700 this morning glaze on the upper surfaces of horizontal twigs 0.2 inch  and 0.1 inch on the undersides.Hourly observations see the link below

Significant high wind gust yesterday was 45 mph at 11:31 hours

It was the highest wind gust since June 25, 2012 when we had a severe thunderstorm and 47 mph winds.
