The snow started very light with small flakes but soon became large fluffy aggregate crystals of flakes trapping air and give a radio of about 20 to 1. This was true only during the period from 0700 to 0800 hours. The main accumulation was between 0700 and 0800 with one inch of snow during the hour but it was still too warm to stick on the street. At 1000 the accumulation was 1.7 inches before passing through a dry slot and getting into the backside of the clipper. There was a snow shower or heavy snow flurry around 1600 to 1608 but it melted as it fell as it was 40 °F at the time of the snow shower. The sun came out and by sunset only a trace of snow remained on the yard. The final snow to water ratio was 8.5 to 1 due to the melting. The total amount of liquid was 0.20 inches. Today's wind run was 170.6 miles the windiest day since January 17, 2012 when the wind run was 247 miles. Today's wind run was 224.0 miles the windiest day since January 17, 2012 when the wind run was 247 miles. The old record was 82 °F in 1973 and 2007.
