The maximum temperature today  was 95 °F the highest temperature  since August 20, 2009 when the maximum temperature was also 95 °F.


  
  JUNE 16, 2010  Warmest Spring on Record from NBC12 News, Weather
 
The numbers need a little explanation. Spring doesn't end until June 21, 

but for meteorologists spring is March, April, and May -- so the spring numbers are in.

The average temperature for spring 2010: 61.5 degrees -- that beats the spring of 1945 by 0.2 of a degree.

The record went down thanks to warm overnight temperatures.

The maximum temperature today was 97.2 °F the highest  maximum temperature  since August 10, 2009 when the minimum temperature was also 97 °F.

The maximum temperature today was 99.1°F, a new record HIGH maximum temperature  record for the West Henrico Co. - Glen Allen VA. station where records started August 2008.

The maximum temperature today at Richmond International Airport was 102 °F, a new 113 year record HIGH daily maximum temperature for the date the old record was 100 °F in 1948.

The maximum temperature at Richmond International Airport was also the highest  temperature recorded there since August 8, 2007 when they recorded a maximum  temperature of 104 °F.



  JUNE 27, 2010  Record Heat
The maximum temperature today was 100.3°F, a new record HIGH maximum temperature  record for the West Henrico Co. - Glen Allen VA. station where records started August 2008.

The maximum temperature today at Richmond International Airport was 102 °F, a new 113 year record HIGH daily maximum temperature for the date the old record was 100 °F in 1952 and 1950.

June might end up the hottest June since records were started here in Richmond.  

Glen Allen now have 18 days in June over or equal to 90 °F and tomorrow will be 19.

The Richmond International Airport 113 year record is 20 in 1943 and the Airport is a little warmer than Glen Allen.

The maximum temperature yesterday was 100 °F, an tied the record HIGH maximum temperature record for the West Henrico Co. - Glen Allen VA. station where records started August 2008. 

The maximum temperature today at Richmond International Airport was 102 °F, a new 113 year record HIGH daily maximum temperature for the date the old record was 99 °F in 1959. 

The total precipitation yesterday was 0.04 inches from the outer edge of two different thunderstorms and the total  for June is now 1.11 inches. 

The high wind gust yesterday was 32 mph at 14:18 hours.
